Caulfield Success for Jessy Belle
Caulfield, July 5– Scoring another determined win at Caulfield on Saturday was talented filly Jessy Belle, a $75,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the draft of Torryburn Stud.
Prepared by Luke Oliver, the daughter of Rock of Gibraltar (IRE) has had a productive three year-old season claiming her fourth win when fighting on too strongly for the colts to snatch a short half head win in the 1400 metre open three year-old event.
“She is just a good horse, she never runs a bad race and she is such a trier,” Luke Oliver said.
"She's definitely a black type filly in the spring or whenever. She is definitely going to make the grade from a three-year-old to an older horse."
Bred by Bennelong Bloodstock and consigned for sale by Torryburn, Jessy Belle has won $226,415 for her big group of owners and is the first winner for well-bred metropolitan winner Unconditional Love, a daughter of dual Group I winner Flitter.
