First start winner for Japan's Northern Farm

Its been a great couple of months for winners off the farm and none more satisfying than that of I Am Invincible 2yo Ms Rodarte who won at her first start at Canterbury last week. Bred by long time Torryburn client Tony Bongiorno, Ms Rodarte was raised at the farm and sold in our draft at the Inglis 2017 Australian Easter Yearling Sale. Northern Farm Japan's Katsumi Yoshida purchased the filly for $300,000 and sent her back to Torryburn to spell before heading to the stable of Chris Waller. Ms Rodarte continues to spell at Torryburn and it has been interesting to watch her develop and grow into a lovely and talented race filly. John Cornish was fortunate to visit Northern Farm late last year and returned to Torryburn inspired by the vision and innovation of the Japanese breeding giant. It is a wonderful to have such a connection and we thank Northern Farm for their continued support and wish them all the best with their Australian racing endeavours.
